- 5. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, ketchup, worcestershire, and seasonings.
- 6.Add breadcrumbs and cooled onion mixture. Mix to hydrate crumbs.
- 7.Fold in ground meat gently. Do not overmix — this prevents toughness.
- 8.Shape into loaf (about 9x5 inches) on baking sheet for better browning, or press into loaf pan.
- 9.Apply a ketchup glaze to top.
- 10.Bake 50-60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for beef.
